Diana Blanco-Garcia

Finance Assistant

Diana was born in Fairfax, Virginia, and raised in Woodbridge, VA for most of her life. She is deeply proud of her Salvadoran-American heritage. Diana’s immigrant parents’ resilience, kindness and hard work shaped her sense of identity and instilled a strong commitment to service.

Diana earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the College of William & Mary and is pursuing a financial analysis certification to further hone her expertise. Outside of her professional pursuits, Diana enjoys exploring new cities with friends, checking off destinations from her travel bucket list, and spending quality time with loved ones. Diana has a passion for cooking, fitness, and giving back to the community.

Over the years Diana has volunteered with various initiatives focused on addressing health disparities and social inequities. A particularly transformative experience was volunteering with a medical brigade in Nicaragua, where she collaborated with doctors, nurses and other volunteers to provide healthcare to underserved communities and formed lasting bonds with the people she met in that journey. In addition, Diana has contributed to children’s literacy programs, assisted in after-school cleanup efforts, and volunteered as a hotline assistant during the COVID-19 pandemic, helping low-income families access essential food resources. Diana remains committed to continuing her service and making a meaningful, lasting impact on the communities she serves.
