Nikita Leus-Oliva

Senior Paralegal

As a daughter of immigrants, Nikita has always been passionate about uplifting immigrant communities. Prior to entering the immigration law field, Nikita worked on dozens of progressive campaigns, where she organized her peers to wield their political power, regardless of their ability to vote. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors from Columbia University, double majoring in Human Rights and Ethnicity and Race Studies. During her final year there, Nikita collaborated with local immigrant rights NGOs and activists to conduct her award-winning interdisciplinary senior thesis project titled “From Venezuela to New York: When the tired, the poor, and the huddled masses arrive by land.”

Nikita enjoys working on the litigation team at Murray Osorio to secure favorable results for clients, particularly those affected by backlogs and delays of immigration case processing. She hopes to attend law school and become an attorney so that she may continue helping people through legal processes. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and spoiling her two cats, Arepa and Milanesa.
