Romana Muzzammel

Attorney

Romana Muzzammel is an attorney who handles affirmative filings including consular processing, family-based green cards, abandonment of green cards, naturalization, non-immigrant visas, waivers of inadmissibility for crimes, fraud, and unlawful presence, and humanitarian cases including asylum, U visas, and VAWA.

Romana graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where she served as a Certified Legal Intern in the Health Law Clinic. Romana further was as a full-time intern at the Board of Immigration Appeals and was a summer intern with Murray Osorio PLLC. After law school, Romana served as an attorney advisor for numerous federal agencies where she drafted dozens of decisions for administrative law judges. Prior to joining Murray Osorio, Romana gained experience exclusively practicing all areas of immigration law including affirmative filings, employment-based immigration cases, civil litigation, and removal defense cases.

Romana volunteered as a pro bono attorney with Catholic Charities. Individually, Romana handled numerous pro bono Afghan asylum and humanitarian parole cases.

Romana is a member of the Maryland State Bar, and a former Leadership Academy Fellow with the Maryland State Bar Association. Romana is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and the Capitol Area Muslim Bar Association.
