Simon Chona is an attorney at Murray Osorio PLLC. As the son of Venezuelan immigrants, Simon is passionate about ensuring access to legal representation for underserved communities and helping clients navigate the complex U.S. immigration system with care and dedication.
Simon graduated from Syracuse University College of Law, where he served as a student attorney at the SU Law Elder and Health Law Clinic. As a student attorney, he assisted senior citizens in acquiring state benefits and drafting advanced healthcare directives. During law school, Simon explored his interest in immigration law by interning with an experienced solo practitioner advocating for immigrant rights in Syracuse. He also served as president of Syracuse Law’s Latin American Law Student Association. Prior to joining Murray Osorio, Simon worked at a local full-service immigration law firm where he assisted clients with various matters such as renewing work permits, acquiring permanent residency, and navigating removal proceedings.
