On December 7, 2020, USCIS announced that it will automatically extend the validity of TPS-related documentation for El Salvador, Haiti, Nicaragua, Sudan, Honduras, and Nepal through October 4, 2021. That means that Employment Authorization Documents (EAD) are automatically extended and employers may show their current EAD and a copy of the official announcement found here to demonstrate their continued eligibility to work. Forms I-94 and I-797 will also be automatically extended.
